Jorge Escobar

Jorge Escobar has a strong and diverse background in the telecommunications and network security industries. Jorge is currently working as the Sr. Director of Customer Solutions Engineering at Federated Wireless, where they focus on 4G and 5G Private Wireless Networks (PWN) and leads a team responsible for the Enterprise and Federal segments.

Before joining Federated Wireless, Jorge held the position of Associate Vice-President of Sales Engineering for North America at Allot. In this role, they played a key role in securing major 5G deals and represented Allot in various telecommunications forums, demonstrating thought leadership in the Cybersecurity and Wireless sectors.

Prior to Allot, Jorge worked at Arbor Networks, the security division of NETSCOUT, where they held multiple positions. As the Technical Leader for Global Strategic Alliances, they managed a team of subject matter experts and worked with OEMs to integrate Arbor products into various hardware products. Jorge also served as the Chief Solutions Architect for Mobile and Wireless Security Solutions, leading the company's entry into the mobile security market and expanding strategic alliances in the DDoS and Mobility space.

Jorge's previous experience also includes positions at Cisco, where they held senior management roles in Systems Engineering. Jorge successfully launched the SP Mobility Architecture practice in Latin America and played a key role in securing major sales wins in the region. Jorge also managed system engineers engaged in routing and switching, network security, unified communications, data center, and mobility for enterprise clients.

Earlier in their career, Jorge worked at Global Crossing and Nortel Networks, where they gained valuable experience in sales engineering and system engineering, particularly in the wireless and mobility fields.
