Jawad Zawulistani

Jawad Zawulistani is an experienced professional in research, advocacy, and conflict resolution. Currently serving as a Research Officer at the Mosaic Institute and Network for Social and Economic Trends at Western University since May 2023, Jawad Zawulistani also holds the position of Feedback Fellow at Feedback Labs and Global Giving since November 2019. Previous roles include Managing Director at the Afghanistan Human Rights and Democracy Organization from June 2019 to December 2021, MENA & South Asia Intern at the Center for Civilians in Conflict, and Program, Advocacy and Communication Director at AHRDO. Jawad Zawulistani began a career in journalism as an Investigative Reporter and Linguist at Etilaat-e Roz newspaper and worked as a Bilingual Blogger for the International Psychosocial Organization. Academic qualifications include a Master’s degree in Research for Policy and Evaluation from Western University, an MA in Conflict Resolution and Coexistence from The Heller School for Social Policy and Management at Brandeis University, and a BA in English Language and Literature from Kabul University.
