Shanaya Kumar

Shanaya Kumar is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Program Assistant for the Orientations and Onboarding and Indigenous Learning Pathways teams at The University of British Columbia, where engagement with industry professionals has enriched the experience since September 2023. As the Founder of Intuitive Minds since April 2021, Shanaya promotes accessible, play-based learning for students of all ages. In addition to philanthropic efforts as a Philanthropy Coordinator at Charitable Choice and a youth-led fundraiser with Feeding Hong Kong, Shanaya has previous roles as an Educator at Learnwell and internships focused on digital media strategy at the Equal Opportunities Commission and digital marketing at The Zubin Foundation. Currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Family Science at The University of British Columbia, slated for completion in 2024, Shanaya combines education, social change advocacy, and a commitment to wellbeing in professional endeavors.
