Bill Marklyn

Bill Marklyn is a software engineer, serial project starter, and philanthropist. As an early employee of Microsoft, he has almost assuredly written software that you’ve used. He was motivated early on by environmental issues and was part of a team that created one of the first LEED Platinum certified hotels in the world. More recently he has focused on bringing about the systemic changes required to undo the wealth and opportunity disparities that exist today. Bill and his wife Holly co-founded The Share Fund - a fund focused on racial and gender equity and dedicated to redistributing wealth in a socially just manner.
