Taroon Mandhana

Taroon Mandhana is an accomplished technology executive currently serving as a Distinguished Fellow at Fellows Fund since January 2025 and as the SVP and Head of Engineering for AI and Products at Atlassian, where leadership extends over a wide range of products including Jira and Confluence. Previously, Mandhana held the position of Corporate Vice President at Microsoft, leading the Web Experiences Team focused on personalized content, and served as Director of Engineering at Facebook, overseeing Facebook Marketplace and search relevance, significantly enhancing user engagement. Earlier experience includes key roles at Microsoft and Nokia Bell Labs, where leadership in search quality, wireless networking, and operating systems was demonstrated. Taroon Mandhana holds an M.S. in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Austin and a B.Tech in Computer Science from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.
