Norm James has extensive experience in natural resources and environmental law. Norm worked as a Director at Fennemore Craig from 1998 until the present, focusing on litigation in federal courts, appeals, and administrative and regulatory matters with federal agencies. Norm'sclients include mining companies, real estate developers, ranchers, and industry trade associations. Prior to this, Norm worked as an attorney at Ryley Carlock & Applewhite from 1981 to 1998.

Norm James earned a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Language and Literature from Stanford University in 1977. Norm then pursued higher education at the University of Utah S.J. Quinney College of Law, where they obtained a Doctor of Law (J.D.) degree in 1981.
