Role Overview:
As the Product Manager for Consumer Experience at FERMÀT, you will play a pivotal role in driving the direction of our e-commerce platform. You will report to our Product Lead and own our end-consumer shopping experience. You’ll analyze product funnels, conduct user research and competitive analysis, lead a cross-functional team, and build and test new shop modules to drive conversion. Your goal will be to enable our users to create extremely high-performing e-commerce shopping experiences.
Responsibilities:
- Own the Consumer Experience: Lead initiatives to improve FERMÀT Shops, ensuring a highly performant and flexible shops.
- Experiment rapidly: Design and test new modules tailored to increasing conversion rates and average order values (AOV) for brands. Experiment and iterate based on performance metrics and user feedback.
- Support Brand Needs: Develop additional modules to cater to non-performance related requests from brands, ensuring these solutions align with overall business goals.
- Consumer-Centric Product Development: Conduct extensive user research and usability studies to gather insights that drive product development. Prioritize consumer needs and feedback in all product decisions.
- Cross-functional Team Leadership: Work closely with engineering and design teams to translate product strategies into detailed requirements and project plans. Oversee the feature development lifecycle, ensuring timely and impactful delivery.
- Performance Monitoring and Optimization: Track, analyze, and report on product performance. Identify risks, remove blockers, and drive continuous improvements based on data-driven insights.
- Industry Trends Awareness: Stay abreast of the latest trends in e-commerce, introducing innovative solutions to enhance our shopping experiences.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Economics, or a related field. However, we are open to a wide range of experiences, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you have a nontraditional background!
- 3+ years of product management experience, preferably in the e-commerce, SaaS, or the technology sector.
- Demonstrated ability to develop product strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a track record of using customer insights and data to drive decision-making.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams, managing stakeholders, and leading product initiatives to successful outcomes.
- Familiarity with agile development methodologies and user-centered design principles.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, startup environment.
