Jade Shields has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Jade began their career as a National Sales Manager at Unilever Home & Personal Care: Unipath Diagnostics Division in 1998. Jade then worked at The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson as a Director of Human Resources Training and Leadership Development from 2001 to 2003, followed by a role as a Regional Business Director, leading sales teams across 14 states from 2004 to 2005.

Shields then moved to Johnson & Johnson, where they served as a Global Director of Commercial Compliance from 2005 to 2009, overseeing compliance initiatives and serving on the company's world-wide Consumer Council for Global Business Development. Jade then became a Senior Director of Compliance Officer in the Office of Compliance, leading the Center of Excellence for the Consumer Compliance Department.

In 2010, Shields joined PDI-Inc as a Senior Vice President of Corporate Compliance and Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer, overseeing the company's compliance programs and corporate integrity agreements.

From 2012 onwards, Shields worked at Ferring Pharmaceuticals, assuming various leadership roles. Jade served as the U.S. Chief Compliance & Ethics Officer and Vice President from 2012 to 2016, responsible for the compliance function and internal audit. Jade then transitioned to the role of Vice President of Global Human Resources, where they took on additional responsibilities as the Global Data Protection Officer and built the privacy program in preparation for GDPR. Shields later became the Vice President of Global Corporate Values, responsible for the Ethics, Sustainability, and Diversity & Inclusion departments. Most recently, they have been serving as the Vice President of Government Affairs and Public Policy, leading the company's engagement with government stakeholders.

Throughout their career, Shields has demonstrated expertise in compliance, ethics, HR, leadership development, and sales management.

Jade Shields has a BA in Marketing & Communications from Clark Atlanta University. Jade also has completed several certification programs including Executive Quality Leadership Development, Competitive Advantage through Leadership, Health Care Compliance, Creating & Leading High Performance Teams, and Finance for Non-Financial Managers. Jade has also obtained a certification in Finance and Financial Management Services.
