Massimo Bruno

Born in 1965 in Naples, he graduated in Chemistry and Pharmaceutical Technologies and Pharmacy at the University of Rome La Sapienza, where he also obtained a PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

He started his activity as coordinator of environmental hygiene activities at AgipPetroli SpA unit, on behalf of the Department of Chemistry and Technology of Biologically Active Substances of the University La Sapienza.

In 1999 he joined the Enel Group dealing with environmental policies (1999-2003) and then occupied the managerial position in External Relations, first for relations with Confindustria (2004-2006), then Head of Territorial and Confindustrial External Relations (2006- 2014) then held the position of Head of Institutional Affairs for Italy and subsequently of Head of Personnel for Enel Italy.

He was also a Director of Enel Distribuzione SpA and Alpe Adria Energie Srl, as well as Chairman of Nuove Energie Srl.

He is a member of various Boards of Directors and Confindustrial Councils, including Venice and Unindustria Lazio, Vice President of WEC Italy - Italian Committee of the World Energy Council.
