Si Acevedo

Si Acevedo has a diverse work experience in the education sector. They started their career in 2012 as a Teacher at Norfolk Public Schools, where they taught until 2016. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Teacher at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. In 2018, Si Acevedo joined Virginia Beach City Public Schools as a Literacy Coach, a role they held until November 2022. Currently, they are working as an Academic Success Coach at FEV Tutor.

Si Acevedo's education history begins in 2005 when they attended Virginia Tech and studied Literature, language, and culture. They completed their Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree at this institution in 2009. Following this, Si Acevedo pursued further education at Old Dominion University from 2009 to 2011. During this time, they earned a Master of Education (MEd) degree in Secondary Education and Teaching.
