Eros Villanueva

Eros Villanueva has a diverse work experience in the field of sports media. Eros started their career as a Writer/Associate at Sports Illustrated Philippines in 2016. Eros then worked as a Contributor and later as the Lead Editor for Basketball at FOX Sports Philippines from 2018 to 2019. During this time, they covered various basketball events and managed a team of contributors. Eros also worked as a Reporter at ESPN5.com from 2019 to 2021, primarily focusing on covering basketball leagues and other sports like MMA and boxing. In 2021, they served as a Columnist at SPIN.ph, writing in-depth analysis on basketball. Eros later joined FIBA as a Mobile Reporter and worked as a Social Media Assistant at Smart Communications, Inc., where they managed social media content and wrote captions. Eros also had a role as a Features Writer at ESPN and Tiebreaker Times in 2022 and 2023 respectively. Currently, Eros is working as a Social Media Specialist at FIBA. Eros'swork experience includes writing, reporting, editing, content creation, and social media management in the field of sports media.

Eros Villanueva completed their Bachelor of Arts in Journalism degree at the University of Santo Tomas from 2013 to 2017. Eros then pursued a Juris Doctor in Law at the University of the Philippines in 2017.
