Celeste Pereira

Celeste Pereira has a strong background in operations and leadership roles. Celeste is currently serving as the Chief Operations Officer at Fibersail since May 2022. Prior to that, they worked at OPTIMAL STRUCTURAL SOLUTIONS from 2019 to 2022, where they held positions as the R&D Leader and the Space Business Unit Leader. From 2014 to 2018, they were the Chief Operations Officer and Business Development Manager at HPS - High Performance Structures, Portugal. Celeste began their career at INEGI - Instituto de Ciência e Inovação em Engenharia Mecânica e Engenharia Industrial as a Senior Researcher from 2004 to 2013.

Celeste Pereira has a strong educational background in the field of Chemical Engineering. Celeste obtained a Licenciatura degree in Chemical Engineering from Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto in 1995. Celeste further pursued their studies and obtained a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the same institution between 1998 and 2002. In 2005, Celeste Pereira attended Porto Business School, where they took the COHiTEC - Course of Innovation and Entrepreneurship. Later, in 2016, they attended Católica Lisbon School of Business and Economics for Executive Education, though it is not specified whether they obtained a degree from this program.
