Kimia Aghasadeghi

Kimia Aghasadeghi's work experience includes being a R&D Project Lead at Fibracast Ltd. since 2021. Prior to that, they worked at the University of Waterloo from 2018 to 2021, where they held positions as a Water Treatment Researcher and a Research Technician for the NSERC Chair in Water Treatment. In these roles, they conducted research, managed research projects, trained and provided guidance to students, and focused on corrosion control of drinking water systems. Kimia also had a research and development internship at MANTECH in 2017. Additionally, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Engineering - McMaster University from 2015 to 2017 and as a Teaching Assistant at McMaster University and the University of Tehran in various capacities.

Kimia Aghasadeghi began their education journey in 2006 and graduated high school from Farzanegan in 2010, with a high school diploma. In 2010, they enrolled at the University of Tehran and obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Chemical Engineering in 2014. Continuing their academic pursuits, they joined McMaster University in 2015 and completed a Master's Degree in Chemical Engineering in 2017.
