Hugo Durães

Hugo Durães began their professional journey in 2002 as a Web Developer at CHIP7, where they worked on eCommerce websites and developed middleware applications to exchange data with ERP/CRM software. Hugo then joined Introduxi in 2007 as a Web Developer, working on outsourced projects for Seara.com. In 2008, they became a User Experience Specialist at Primavera BSS.

In 2009, Hugo joined 7Graus as a Web Developer, leading a small team and introducing agile methodologies and new technologies in the software development process. Hugo also served as the Scrum Master for the team. Following this, Hugo worked at Movvo as a Frontend Web Developer, specializing in building Backbone.js applications.

From 2015 to 2016, Hugo worked at JScrambler as a Full Stack JavaScript Developer, utilizing Node.js, Backbone.js, and React. Hugo then joined Mindera in 2016 as a Software Engineer, where they contributed until 2021.

Currently, Hugo is a Senior Software Engineer at Fidel API, a position they started in March 2021.

Hugo Durães received a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto, where they attended from 1999 to 2005.
