Les Middleton

Les Middleton is an experienced FPGA Engineer at Fidus Systems since 2006, specializing in signal processing within FPGAs using VHDL and Verilog, alongside RF system and circuit design, and Matlab and Simulink system modeling. Previous roles include ownership of an e-commerce business, Design Engineer at Soma Networks focusing on W-CDMA modem subsystems, and engineering positions at Cisco Systems, Clarity Wireless, Netro Corp, Harmonic, TeleSciences, and Bell Northern Research, where contributions ranged from FPGA subsystem design to RF and digital hardware design for advanced communication systems. Les Middleton holds a B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Alberta, complemented by further studies at Carleton University, Santa Clara University, and UC Berkeley.
