Karan Chopra

Karan Chopra has a diverse work experience in the field of product management and cybersecurity. Karan is currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Field Effect. Prior to this, they worked at TELUS as a Manager in Cybersecurity Products and Services, and previously as a Senior Product Manager in Managed Security Services. Karan also has experience at Huawei Technologies as a Senior Product Specialist in Data Centre and IP Networks. Karan started their career at Ciena as a Global Product Support Engineer, gradually moving up to become a Customer Lead Engineer and a Senior Technical Associate. Karan holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Before that, they worked at Bharti Airtel Limited as a Senior Lead Engineer and as an Engineering Intern at the Department of Information Technology & Electronics, Government of India. Karan also gained experience as an Engineering Intern at Nokia, where they worked on projects related to GSM Architecture, Network Planning, and Optimization.

Karan Chopra holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering with a Minor in Management Engineering from the University of Waterloo. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Technology degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from Punjab Technical University. In addition, Karan has earned certifications such as Accredited Systems Engineer-Public Cloud Associate and Accredited Sales Executive from Palo Alto Networks, as well as a certificate in Analyzing Global Trends for Business and Society from Coursera Verified Certificates.
