Zach Adcock has a diverse range of work experience in the construction industry. Zach currently works as a Construction Success Manager at Fieldwire by Hilti since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Project Engineer at GLY Construction from January 2022 to January 2023.
Zach also worked at Clark Construction Group, LLC as an Engineer from August 2019 to January 2022. During their time there, they played a key role in guiding exterior and interior curtainwall trades and driving the building enclosure critical path. Zach also implemented the LEED plan for a project in pursuit of platinum certification.
Before joining Clark Construction Group, Zach served as a Graduate Writing Consultant at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2018 to May 2019. Zach provided guidance to graduate and undergraduate students as well as faculty members in developing technical reports, resumes, and personal statements.
In addition, Zach gained valuable leadership experience as the President of the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA) - UIUC Chapter from August 2017 to May 2019. Zach organized construction site visits for students, arranged industry guest lectures, and represented CMAA before the UIUC Engineering Council.
During their studies, Zach also completed internships at Clark Construction Group, LLC as a Project Engineer Intern, where they contributed to the coordination and monitoring of MEP systems, and at Ulliman Schutte Construction as a Project Engineer Co-Op, where they worked on developing site conditions presentations and updating As-Built drawings.
Furthermore, Zach gained early industry experience as a Construction Management Intern at INTREN, Inc in 2016 and as a Civil Engineering Intern at Crawford, Murphy & Tilly, Inc in 2015.
Zach Adcock's education history begins with their high school education at Naperville North High School, where they attended from 2010 to 2014. Zach then pursued a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign from 2014 to 2018. During their undergraduate studies, in 2016, they had the opportunity to participate in the International Program in Engineering at UCL (University College London) as part of their Civil Engineering degree. After completing their bachelor's degree, Zach continued their education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and obtained a Master of Science in Civil Engineering between 2018 and 2019.
