Sarah Thoms

Sarah Thoms is an experienced professional in public relations and communications, currently serving as a PR & Public Affairs expert at Fife College since October 2022. With a rich background, Sarah previously held the position of Stakeholder Engagement Manager at Sky, where significant projects were managed for a global staff audience. Other notable roles include Communications and Public Affairs Manager at the Equality and Human Rights Commission, where Sarah oversaw extensive political and stakeholder engagement in Scotland, and strategic communications work at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office, focusing on the Middle East. Sarah has also worked in various capacities in government departments including the House of Commons and the Department for International Development, excelling in media strategy and public engagement. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism from Edinburgh Napier University.
