Manar Al-Shaebi

Manar Al-Shaebi has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2009 as a Technical Officer at the National Research Council Canada (NRC-IRC). In 2010, they worked as a Software Developer at Iridian Spectrum Technology, where they developed software applications and automated certain manufacturing steps. That same year, they also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Carleton University, where they compiled weekly mathematical problems, assessed students' performance, and held one-on-one help sessions. In 2011, they worked as a Research Assistant at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute, where they performed extensive literature review, categorized findings, and presented them to the team. From 2017 to 2021, they worked at Schneider Electric as an Environmental Compliance Specialist and Component Data Analyst. Most recently, in 2022, they began working at FigBytes Inc. as an ESG Solutions Engineer.

Manar Al-Shaebi's education history includes a Bachelor in Biomedical and Electrical Engineering with co-op from Carleton University, Ottawa from 2007 to 2012. In 2016, they completed an Introduction to Project Feasibility Analysis from Clean Energy Institute of GPEKS, as well as a Full Stack Web Development Specialization from Coursera. In 2019, they obtained a LEED Green Associate certification from Green Business Certification, Inc.
