Changho Kim is a legal professional with extensive experience in human rights and international law. Currently serving as the Lead Lawyer for Asia at FILE since October 2024, Changho has held various significant positions including Deputy Director at Human Rights Now from January 2016 to February 2019, and Program Officer at Open Society Foundations from February 2019 to June 2024. Additional roles include Attorney (Officer of International Affairs) at the Japan Federation of Bar Associations and Democracy and Human Rights Fellow at Taiwan Foundation for Democracy. Changho has also contributed as a Senior Minorities Fellow at the United Nations Human Rights and as a Visiting Scholar at Soochow University. Education includes a Doctor of Law (JD) from the University of Chicago Law School and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from The University of Tokyo.
