Artem Gurevich

Artem Gurevich is a Non-Executive Director at Finclusion Group. Artem has 11 months of experience in their current position. Prior to this, they were a Mentor at enpact for 4 months and an Investment Director, Venture Debt at Flashpoint Venture Capital for 6 months.

Gurevich’s previous company was Rendeavour, where they spent 5 years and 6 months. During their time there, they served as the Chief Financial Officer, Chief of Staff, and led the financial analysis and development of financial models for all projects and sub-projects. Artem also managed all aspects of finance and accounting function, completing the annual Group audit by EY London. In addition, Gurevich led the annual budget and business plan preparation, coordinated annual business plan preparation, and designed and implemented a monthly reporting framework for management teams across Rendeavour projects.

Under Gurevich’s leadership, origination and execution efforts resulted in a competitive process and two reputable school operators acquiring sites and establishing new schools in Tatu City, Rendeavour’s project in Kenya. Artem also led negotiations with a major European development finance institution with respect to their investment in an industrial park (a sub-project of Tatu City). Furthermore, Gurevich developed the strategy for a new utilities business in Rendeavour and led the initial implementation of electricity and water distribution businesses in Kenya.

Artem Gurevich has a University of Waterloo Honours Bachelor degree and a Wilfrid Laurier University Honours Bachelor degree. Artem also has a Renaissance Academy Graduate Training Programme education.
