Ted Malone

Ted Malone is a seasoned financial aid professional with extensive experience spanning multiple institutions. Currently a Senior Consultant at Financial Aid Services, Inc. since November 2018, Ted previously owned Main Street Books from April 2015 to August 2022 and worked as an independent consultant in mid-2018. Ted served as Executive Director of the Division of Financial Aid at Purdue University from August 2011 to June 2018, overseeing the distribution of $560 million in financial assistance and managing a team of 45. Additional roles include Director of Student Financial Assistance at the University of Alaska Anchorage, Associate Dean of Financial Aid at Edmonds Community College, and various director positions at Glendale Community College, Grand Canyon University, and Simpson University. Ted's career began in the U.S. Navy, where training as a Naval Nuclear Electrical Operator took place. Ted holds a Master of Arts in Education and a Bachelor of Arts in English Communication from Simpson University, complemented by an Associate of Arts from Centralia College.
