Renee Barnett

Renee Barnett is currently the Vice President of Federal Regulatory Affairs and Senior Counsel at the Financial Services Institute (FSI) since April 2020. Prior to this, Renee held the position of Senior Counsel at FINRA from September 2008 to April 2020. Renee also worked as a Securities Associate at WilmerHale and completed a federal judicial clerkship at the United States District Court under Honorable Richard D. Bennett. Renee earned a Juris Doctor (JD) degree, summa cum laude, from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Business from Wake Forest University.
