Hasan Shahid

Hasan Shahid is a seasoned procurement professional with extensive experience in technology procurement and management. Currently serving as the Head of Technology Procurement at Financial Times since October 2019, Hasan has also held the position of Senior Procurement Manager - Technology within the same organization. Prior roles include Category Manager - IT and Digital at The Co-op from November 2016 to October 2019, and Procurement Lead at Sky Betting & Gaming for a brief period in 2016. Hasan began a career in procurement at DHL, progressing from Buyer within the DHL Graduate Scheme from March 2014 to January 2016, and previously gained experience as a Summer Intern at Weatherford and Tejari in 2012 and 2011 respectively. Hasan holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the University of Toronto, completed in 2013, and has a foundational education from Deira International School in Dubai, UAE.
