Ivane Javrishvili

Ivane Javrishvili has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Ivane'smost recent position was as the Global Information Systems Audit Director at FINCA Impact Finance, where they were responsible for promoting and reviewing information systems audit across the organization. Prior to that, Javrishvili held the position of Director of IT Department at the National Bank of Georgia from 2008 to 2019, where they implemented various IT systems and infrastructure initiatives. Ivane also served as a Member of the e-governance state committee of Georgia from 2012 to 2014. Earlier in their career, Javrishvili worked as a Senior IS Auditor at Bank REPUBLIC - Societe Generale Group and as an IT Auditor at the National Bank of Georgia. Ivane has also held positions in IntellectBank and Ltd "LiderCom" as a Plastic Cards System Manager and Managing Partner, respectively. Javrishvili's career started as the Head of the Regional Center at the Social Management & Information Center. Overall, Javrishvili has accumulated a strong expertise in IT audit, IT management, strategy development, and information security management throughout their various roles.

Ivane Javrishvili's education history includes multiple degrees and certifications. Ivane earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in Information Technology and Mathematics from Tbilisi State University, where they studied from 1993 to 1998. During the same period, they also pursued a degree in Banking at Georgian Technical University, which they completed in 1999. Prior to that, from 1990 to 1993, Ivane attended the Physical-Mathematical School (Komarov), focusing on Mathematics and Physics.

In addition to their degrees, Ivane has obtained several certifications in the field of information security and risk management. Ivane became a Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP) through (ISC)² in August 2022. Ivane also holds a Certificate of Cloud Auditing Knowledge (CCAK) from ISACA, obtained in 2021. In 2018, Ivane became a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) through (ISC)². In 2017, they obtained the Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control™ (CRISC) certification from ISACA. In 2016, they earned the Certified Information Security Manager® (CISM) and Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) certifications from ISACA. Lastly, in 2016, Ivane acquired the Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT® (CGEIT) certification, also from ISACA.
