Ann-Kathrin Breuning

Ann-Kathrin Breuning has a diverse work experience background. Ann-Kathrin began their career as a Mathematics Tutor at Westminster College, where they worked with up to 10 students per week to review various math concepts. Ann-Kathrin also served as a Student Athlete and a Student Alumni Representative during their time at Westminster College.

Following their time at Westminster College, Ann-Kathrin worked as a Student Consultant at the Quantitative Analysis and Research Cooperative (QUARC). In this role, they collaborated with a team of students and faculty to provide quantitative research and assessment methodology consulting to clients. Ann-Kathrin specifically planned student workshops for the GRE quantitative section.

Ann-Kathrin then joined the University of Utah as a Student Athlete, participating in athletic activities while pursuing their academic studies.

Afterwards, Ann-Kathrin transitioned to the corporate world and joined Overstock. Ann-Kathrin started as a Pricing Analyst Intern, where they analyzed the impact of pricing algorithm enhancements on sales performance. Ann-Kathrin was responsible for building and adjusting SQL queries to extract data from Overstock's database for analysis.

Continuing at Overstock, Ann-Kathrin progressed to the role of Pricing Analyst, where they automated data preparation tasks to support senior analysts in price testing. Ann-Kathrin also provided statistical analysis on sales performance to enhance pricing strategies and executed price changes. In their subsequent role as a Senior Pricing Analyst, they developed algorithms and reporting mechanisms to support pricing strategies and participated in cross-team leadership meetings to address pricing process concerns.

Currently, Ann-Kathrin works as a Data Scientist at FinditParts.

Ann-Kathrin Breuning completed their high school education at Gymnasium Hohenschwangau from 2008 to 2011. Ann-Kathrin then pursued their Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics at Westminster College from 2013 to 2017. Later, they attended the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business from 2017 to 2018, where they obtained a Master of Business Analytics - MSBA degree.
