Eduardo Flórez has been in the public relations and marketing industry since 2012. Eduardo began their career at AIESEC in 2012 as an International Relations Officer. In 2014, they were promoted to Local Committee Vice-President of Global Talent Product and was responsible for managing the key accounts of the organization. That same year, they also worked at EFE Colombia as a Marketing and Public Relations Officer. In 2015, they moved to Wall Street English as a Sales Consultant, where they were responsible for direct sales and the loyalty strategy. In 2016, they joined SL Estudio de Comunicación as a Public Relations and Media Specialist. In 2019, they moved to SpicyMinds - digital business lab as a Digital Consultant and Key Account Manager, where they achieved 60% of the sales goal in 2020 and $2,000,000 MXN in sales in the first Quarter of 2021. Currently, they are a Public Relations Executive and Key Account Manager at Finerio Connect, where they are responsible for creating and directing the public relations strategy of the company for Mexico, Colombia, Chile and Brasil, managing and tracking the relationship with public relations agencies and direct relationship with journalists, approving editorial content in each country, monitoring media impacts, tracking KPIs, and creating monthly reports.
Eduardo Flórez graduated from the Universidad Tecnológica de Pereira in 2012 with a degree in Ingeniero Físico and a field of study in Investigación en Materiales Magnéticos. Eduardo has also obtained certifications from Platzi in December 2022 for a Course in Relaciones Públicas para Startups, and from EF Education First in March 2020 for a Test de Ingles de EF SET.
