Marta Gárate has been working in the Human Resources field since 1998. Marta started their career as a Project Manager at Azertia, Atos, and Entel, where they were responsible for technical career development and participated in the complete life cycle of the project, from establishing requirements to the production start-up, with team-management responsibilities. In 2005, they joined CGI as an HR Specialist, where they were responsible for the growth of the company from 80 to 450 employees and the design and implementation of all processes in the HR Department. Marta was then promoted to HR Business Partner/HR Manager, where they managed the Human Resources department in Spain and was involved in the transformation of the corporate human resources model and the acquisition of Logica. In 2018, they joined Accelya Group as a Global Human Resources Business Partner, where they provided business support in the design of their strategies to achieve corporate objectives and launched global knowledge communities and new learning channels. In 2020, they joined Bnext as their Head of Human Resources, and in 2021 they joined Fintonic as their Chief People Officer and Head of People & Culture.

Marta Gárate has an education history that spans from 2004 to 2021. In 2004, they obtained a Master in Human Resources Executive from Universidad Pontificia Comillas. Marta also holds a Degree in Physics from Universidad Autónoma de Madrid. In 2019, they attended ISDI and The Hero Camp, where they completed the Change Lab.
