Kathleen Cheung

Kathleen Cheung is a Principal Bioinformatician at Fios Genomics since November 2023, with previous experience as a Lead Bioinformatician at Genomics England from February 2023 to November 2023, and as a Principal Bioinformatician at Fios Genomics from May 2020 to February 2023. Kathleen's earlier roles include Senior Bioinformatician and Bioinformatician at Newcastle University, where responsibilities involved the analysis of high-throughput sequencing data and conducting a postdoctoral research project on chromatin architecture in mouse embryonic stem cells. Kathleen also served as a Lab Demonstrator at Newcastle University from 2014 to 2016, teaching essential lab techniques. Education includes a Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Bioinformatics from Newcastle University, as well as a post-genomic science degree from the University of Liverpool and a BSc in Biological Sciences from the University of East Anglia.
