Matthew McCord

Matthew McCord has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Matthew most recently worked at Firestorm as the Head of Mechanical Engineering starting in November 2022. Prior to that, they co-founded and served as the Head of Hardware and Innovation at Vessel since August 2017. Matthew also worked as a Solutions Consultant at Universe Innovation from January 2016 and as an Engineering Specialist at Elite Tech from October 2011. Matthew has held freelance designer roles at Endless Vision since January 2002. Matthew co-founded Symbiotic Systems and served as the CTO from October 2011 until April 2018. Matthew also worked as an Electromechanical Systems Engineer at Merlin CSI from March 2012 to December 2014 and as an Engineering Consultant, Mechanical & Industrial Design at CareFusion from November 2012 to February 2013. Additionally, they worked as an Engineering Consultant, Mechanical Design at Nordson ASYMTEK from March 2012 to October 2012 and as a Product Engineer at Environmental Lights from February 2011 to October 2011.

Matthew McCord attended San Dieguito High Academy from 2000 to 2004. Following that, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering from Washington University in St. Louis from 2004 to 2008.
