Nigel Wright

Nigel Wright has extensive work experience in the field of information technology. Nigel is currently the Director of Security and Reliability at First AML, where they previously held the role of Director of SRE and Senior SRE Lead. Prior to that, they worked as a Cloud Enablement Manager at Trade Me. Nigel also held various positions at Roam Digital, including Head of Cloud and DevSecOps Practice Lead. Before joining Roam Digital, they served as a Principal Cloud Consultant at NTT Ltd. and a Cloud Technologist at Dimension Data New Zealand. Nigel began their career at Hewlett Packard Enterprise as a Cloud Technologist, where they were responsible for technical pre-sales and served as a subject matter expert. Nigel also worked as a Senior Technical Consultant at Dimension Data New Zealand, and as a Software Management Capability Lead NZ at Hewlett-Packard. Nigel's earlier experience includes roles as a Desktop Solutions Architect at Kordia Solutions and as a SOE Administrator at healthAlliance.

Nigel Wright obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Information Science/Studies from Massey University in the years 2013 to 2017. Nigel also holds various certifications including Gremlin Certified Chaos Engineering Practitioner, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, Docker Certified Associate, Certified Kubernetes Administrator, Cloud Foundry Certified Developer, Docker Sales Professional, and Docker Technical Sales Professional.
