Daniel Arita

Vice President Strategy at First Entertainment Credit Union

Daniel Arita has a diverse work experience spanning various roles in the financial industry. Daniel began their career at Washington Mutual Bank as a Contact Center Specialist in 2004. Daniel then worked at Bank of America, where they held multiple positions including Proof Operator, Teller & Senior Teller, and Teller Operations Specialist. In 2010, they joined BECU as a Branch Manager and later transitioned to become a Product Manager - Credit Cards, overseeing consumer credit card products and loyalty programs. In 2015, they joined Verity Credit Union as the Director of Lending, responsible for overseeing consumer lending and collections. Daniel returned to BECU in 2016 and served as Vice President, Payment Services & Operations, responsible for managing consumer and business payment products and organization-wide operations. In 2020, Daniel joined First Entertainment Credit Union as Vice President, Payments, and later moved on to become the Vice President, Payments & PMO, overseeing payment product management, card services, and project management divisions. Currently, they hold the position of Vice President, Digital & Payments Experience at First Entertainment Credit Union, where they provide strategic leadership for online, mobile, and digital delivery channels along with digital payments experience management.

Daniel Arita attended Bishop Blanchet High School from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained their High School Diploma. Daniel then pursued higher education at the University of Washington from 2002 to 2007 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Daniel also acquired two additional certifications: Certified Scrum Product Owner from the Scrum Alliance in June 2017 and Federal Mortgage Loan Originator from the Nationwide Mortgage Licensing System & Registry.
