Jose Pablo M. has a diverse work experience in the field of software development. Jose Pablo started their career in 2013 as a customer service agent at Sykes and later worked as a developer at Arkkosoft, where they provided IT support and configured remote servers. In 2014, they joined ICE 1155 as an Android and Grails developer, where they developed new features and managed the application server.

In 2016, Jose Pablo worked at Accenture as an Android developer before joining Universidad Latina de Costa Rica as a professor. At the university, they taught programming courses and postgraduate classes.

In 2017, Jose Pablo joined Wear Interactive as an iOS developer, where they developed new features and fixed bugs using Swift. Jose Pablo also worked as an Android developer, developing features using Java and Kotlin. In 2021, they took on the role of a Flutter Developer Lead, where they served as a technical lead for a team of four, conducted code reviews, and hosted daily meetings and planning sessions.

Currently, Jose Pablo M. holds the position of Senior Software Engineer at First Factory, which they started in 2022.

Jose Pablo M. obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering from the Universidad Latina de Costa Rica, which they pursued from 2011 to 2016. Jose Pablo also completed an online course in Computer Programming from Udemy in 2019. In 2020, they took another Computer Programming course from Udemy. In addition to their formal education, Jose Pablo M. has received several certifications. In 2015, they became Scrum Fundamentals Certified (SFC) through SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile. In 2016, they obtained certifications in Android 6.0 New Features for Developers, Building Adaptive Android Apps with Fragments, Building a Game App with the Android SDK, and Google Firebase for Android: First Look, all from Lynda.com. Jose Pablo also attended a startup weekend event focused on change makers edition at the Instituto Tecnológico de Costa Rica in 2015 and a conference on innovating mobile application development at CAMTIC in 2014.
