Derek Brown

Derek Brown has extensive experience in human resources, currently serving as the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at First Federal since October 2015. Prior to this role, Derek worked as an HR Manager at Intermountain Healthcare for a brief period in 2015 and held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Henriksen Butler from September 2014 to March 2015. Additionally, Derek spent over eight years at Citi, where roles included Vice President of Employee Communications and Vice President and Senior Human Resources Advisor. Educational background includes a Graduate degree in Banking and Financial Support Services from Pacific Coast Banking School, an MBA in Operations and Finance from Weber State University, and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Utah State University.
