Jan Haak

Jan Haak has over fifteen years of experience in the IT industry, with a focus on software development and architecture. Jan began their career as a software engineer with Thales Australia in April 2008. From there they moved to Market Sentinel as a software developer in August 2007. In June 2009 they took a position as a developer with CCK Financial Solutions.

In April 2010, Jan became a consultant with Ajilon Australia. In this role they provided expert advice on software development projects for a variety of clients. In January 2013 they were promoted to systems programmer. In this role they were responsible for developing and maintaining system software for Data Analysis Australia.

In April 2013, Jan left Ajilon to join BHP Billiton as a development lead. In this role they were responsible for leading a team of developers in the delivery of software projects. Jan remained with BHP until November 2015 when they joined Amazon Web Services as a global solutions architect. Jan remained with Amazon until July 2020 when they took their current role as general manager of Australia for First Mode.

Jan Haak has a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from The University of Western Australia.

They are on a team with Amylie Plante - Executive Assistant to CEO, Colleen Rubart - VP, Marketing & Communication, and Rhae Adams - VP, Strategy & Business Development. Jan Haak reports to Chris Voorhees, President & CEO.
