Karen Klerman

Karen Klerman has a diverse and extensive work experience in the commercial real estate and banking industry. Karen has held various roles throughout their career, starting with their current position as the Senior Director - Commercial Real Estate at First National Bank of Omaha. In this role, they are responsible for originating land loans, construction financing, and term debt, as well as providing other banking services.

Prior to this, Karen worked as a Private Banking Advisor at Wells Fargo Private Bank, where they specialized in developing and implementing tailored credit, deposit, and cash management strategies for high-net-worth clients. Karen also worked at Wells Fargo as a Market Manager - Business Banking Investor Real Estate, managing a team of relationship managers and originating loans for commercial real estate investors, owners, operators, and developers.

Before joining Wells Fargo, Karen held positions at Boulder Housing Partners, where they served as a Commissioner on the Board of Commissioners, including a two-year term as Chair of the Board. Karen began their career at Sears, Roebuck and Co., where they started as a Store Location Researcher and later moved into Asset Management, negotiating lease renewals, extensions, and condemnations.
