Corey Elliott

Corey Elliott, MIPM, has a diverse range of work experience in various industries and roles. Corey currently works as a Business Lead for the First Responder Network Authority, leading projects and programs for the Nationwide Public Safety Broadband Network. Prior to this, they worked as a Consultant for Corner Alliance, Inc., providing project management support services for the U.S. Department of Commerce. Corey also has experience as a Hazard Mapping Coordinator for the Colorado Water Conservation Board, where they managed the Colorado Hazard Mapping Program. Additionally, they worked as a Project & Grants Closeout Specialist for the Colorado Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management, guiding discussions and managing federally funded construction projects. Corey also has experience in the field of disaster recovery, having worked as a Recovery Coordination Specialist for FEMA. Corey has a background in law enforcement as well, having served as a Lead Law Enforcement Patrol for the United States Air Force. Corey holds a Master of Infrastructure Planning and Management (MIPM) degree.

Corey Elliott, MIPM, holds a Master's degree in Infrastructure Planning and Management (MIPM) from the University of Washington, earned between 2017 and 2019. They also obtained a Certificate in Project Management from the University of Washington in 2022. Prior to their Master's degree, Corey completed a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Criminal Justice, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Sociology, and an Undergraduate Certificate in Homeland Security from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs in 2012-2013. Corey also holds a Certificate in Fundamentals of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) 2101 from the National Geospatial-Intelligence College Analysis Training Program in 2017, and they pursued studies in Criminology at Kansas State University from 2005-2006.
