Matthew Selvester

Matthew Selvester, PMP has over 18 years of experience in project and program management. Matthew is currently serving as a Senior Principal Program Manager at First Tech Federal Credit Union, where they were promoted to a Director-level role within six months of joining. In this position, Matthew oversees a team of 11 Program and Project Managers and is responsible for implementing robust frameworks to elevate enterprise-wide and business-led programs. Matthew also pioneered a mentorship initiative for project management professionals.

Prior to their current role, Matthew worked at Bank of the West as a Senior Program Manager, where they managed a team of 5 Project Managers and directed initiatives across various domains such as Customer Experience (CX), Compliance, and Payment Services Systems. Matthew implemented a uniform system for monitoring progress and project status, resulting in improved transparency and clarity for project teams.

Matthew also has experience working at AssetMark as a Program Manager, at Kaiser Permanente as a Project Manager, at Amplify Technologies, LLC as a Project Manager, at Wells Fargo Bank as a Project Manager, at MacDonald-Bedford, LLC as a Project Manager, at FlashBacks Unlimited as a Co-Owner and Founder, and at Norfield Industries as a Marketing Intern.

Matthew Selvester, PMP has a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration, Management and Operations from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Matthew also holds a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Business Management from California State University, Chico. Additionally, Matthew has obtained various certifications, including Professional Technical Project Manager from ServiceNow and multiple trainings from the Management & Strategy Institute in areas such as change management, communication, problem-solving, teamwork, and business acumen.
