Leslie Totten

Leslie Totten has had an extensive work experience in various roles and companies. Leslie is currently serving as the Chief People Officer at FIRST THINGS FIRST since May 2021. Prior to that, they were the Tempe PRE Supervisor at the City of Tempe from 2019 to April 2021. Leslie also worked at FIRST THINGS FIRST as the Quality First Coordinator & Director from November 2011 to May 2019. Leslie has experience as an Adjunct Faculty at Rio Salado College from December 2008 to January 2014 and as the School Director at Chaparral Christian Pre-School from July 2002 to April 2008. Earlier in their career, Leslie was the Human Resources Director at Mayo Clinic from July 1991 to May 1996 and at Samaritan Health Services from May 1986 to June 1991.

Leslie Totten holds a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management/Organizational Communication from Arizona State University. Additionally, they have obtained a Master of Education (MEd) in Early Childhood Education from Northern Arizona University.
