Amelia Vazquez

Amelia Vazquez has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries.

Amelia started their career as an Olympic Hospitality Intern at Johnson & Johnson in 2008. Amelia then moved on to work as a District Scheduler for the United States House of Representatives from 2010 to 2012.

In 2012, they joined Dewberry as an Outreach Specialist before transitioning to Grass Roots Meetings & Events, where they served as an Operations Manager from 2013 to 2018.

Following that, they worked as a Global Operations Manager - Delegate Management at Touch Associates from 2018 to 2020.

Currently, they are employed at FIRST and has held multiple positions within the company. Amelia started as an Operations Manager EMEA/APAC from January 2020 to September 2021. Presently, they hold the position of Operations Director, FIRST supporting Google starting from October 2021. In their role, they focus on aligning global processes and supporting event delivery across multiple brands and teams, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.

Amelia Vazquez attended the University of Scranton from 2005 to 2009, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications/Public Relations.
