Connor Valentine

Connor Valentine Ph.D. is an experienced professional in data science, machine learning, and software engineering, currently serving as Vice President at RedSynth since March 2024. Prior roles include Senior Data Scientist at FirstEnergy since October 2022, focusing on geospatial data and developing machine learning pipelines, and Senior Software Engineer at Raposa Technologies from January 2021 to June 2023. Education includes a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University, where Connor was a Graduate Student Researcher from August 2017 to March 2022, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from UC Santa Barbara, attended from 2013 to 2017. Early career experience includes research at Helgeson Lab UCSB and roles in tourism and instruction.
