Mark Jewells

Mark Jewells, MBA has over 15 years of work experience in various roles within the financial industry. Mark started their career at Hartco as a Sales Representative from 2004 to 2007. Mark then worked at Bank of America as a Client Care Specialist in 2007, where they assisted clients with credit card services. From 2007 to 2010, they served as a Residential Mortgage Underwriter at CIBC. Mark then joined Bridgewater Bank as a Mortgage Underwriter in early 2011 before moving to First National Financial LP later that year. At First National Financial LP, Mark held multiple roles, including Team Lead/Underwriter from 2011 to 2014, Manager of Business Development from 2014 to 2019, and Senior Director of Commercial Financing from 2019 to the present. Throughout their career, Mark has demonstrated strong leadership skills, developed client relationships, implemented sales strategies, and excelled in mortgage origination and underwriting. Mark also served as a Troop Leader with the King's Own Calgary Regiment (RCAC) in the Canadian Forces from 2008 to 2014, where they were responsible for the administration, welfare, and training of a troop of soldiers.

Mark Jewells, MBA holds an MBA in Executive Management with a specialization in Asia Pacific Trade & Investment from Royal Roads University, which they obtained from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed an Advanced Diploma in Business Administration with a focus on International Business from Algonquin College of Applied Arts and Technology between 2004 and 2007. Mark also has additional certifications including the CITP (Certified International Trade Professional) from the Forum for International Trade Training (FITT), which they obtained in 2015, and an Environmental Officer Certificate from the Canadian Armed Forces | Forces armées canadiennes.
