Fernando Romo

Fernando Romo is a seasoned compliance and risk management professional with extensive experience in governance roles. They served as Contralor Normativo at GBM Grupo Bursátil Mexicano from 2015 to 2018 and held the position of Contralor Normativo - Risk, Control and Compliance at Principal Financial Group from 2012 to 2015. Fernando advanced to become the Director of Compliance, Risk, and Control at Fiserv from 2018 to 2022 and currently holds the role of AVP Compliance & Regulatory Affairs at Moody's Local in 2024. Fernando earned a Master's degree in Economía y Negocios from Universidad Anáhuac México and a Licentiate degree in Administración y Gestión de Empresas from Universidad de Guadalajara.
