Matthew Serra

Matthew Serra has extensive experience in risk management and analysis. Matthew currently serves as the Risk Management Governance Lead Analyst at New York Community Bank (NYCB) since April 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Analyst Risk Control at Brookfield Renewable from April 2019 to April 2021. Matthew also held positions at Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking, MetLife, J.P. Morgan, Capital One, and Morgan Stanley, where they gained experience in market and liquidity risk, valuation control, derivative trade analytics, and operations analysis.

Matthew Serra received their Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Hunter College in 2010. In 2014, they also attended John Jay College (CUNY) for a non-degree program.
