At Flare, Chris focuses on identifying and characterizing mechanisms of small molecule modulators of transcription factors, by using biochemistry and biophysical approaches.

In his decade plus in the industry, Chris has been a part of lead discovery programs, ranging from enzymes, protein-protein interactions, GTPases, and protein aggregation targets across Oncology, Epigenetics, Endocrinology, and Neurodegeneration. In that time he was able to be part of several teams that put molecules into the clinic, which for Chris, is what makes it all worthwhile—because it’s helping patients!
