Binhua Zuo

Senior Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer at Flexiv

Binhua Zuo has a range of work experience in computer vision engineering. They started in 2017 with an internship at DJI, where they conducted research on image super-resolution using a Laplacian layer structure. They also utilized parallel networks and residual feedback to increase the PSNR.

In 2018, Binhua worked as a computer vision engineer intern at Huawei, focusing on research on 3D reconstruction and depth estimation. They worked on depth completion and predicting surface normals and boundaries to obtain complete depth images.

Later in 2018, Binhua joined Baidu, Inc. as a computer vision engineer. Their role involved utilizing face landmark detection and Poisson matting to edit facial attributes in videos. They achieved success rates of up to 80% for age swapping and 71% for gender swapping.

Currently, Binhua is working at Flexiv Ltd. as a Senior Computer Vision Algorithm Engineer. They are responsible for conducting research and implementing state-of-the-art computer vision algorithms, including object detection, instance segmentation, and oriented object detection.

Binhua Zuo pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from 2012 to 2016 at the Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications. After completing their undergraduate studies, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science from 2016 to 2018 at The University of Tokyo.
