Chris Simpson is a Patron Development Officer at FLINT INSTITUTE OF MUSIC. Prior to this, Chris was a Warner Records where they served as Global Brand Partnerships & Commercial Sync from October 2021 to December 2021. In this role, Chris curated and populated internal thematic playlists for pitching sync and brand placement, prospected, researched and pitched potential brand partnerships for WMG’s artists, created and maintained marketing materials including artist rosters, release schedules and one sheets, and procured brand partners for artist integrations including music videos, content, events and activations.

Before Warner Records, Chris was an Artist Manager at gener8tor Music from June 2021 to July 2021. Here, Chris participated and selected as a top 10 Artist Manager through Motown Music Accelerator's 6 Week Program. During their time at gener8tor Music, Chris guided client partnership with Chris Is The Music program, which led to collaboration work with Alicia Keys.

Chris has also held the role of Marketing Specialist at Be Now Media from November 2020 to June 2022 and Marketing and Patron Development Intern at Detroit Symphony Orchestra from February 2020 to April 2020. Additionally, Chris has been a Music Instructor at Axis Music Academy from September 2019 to October 2021.

Chris Simpson has a Bachelor of Music from Wayne State University in Music Buisness. Chris Simpson also has a High School Diploma from Warren Woods Tower High School.
