Gianluca Mormile

Gianluca Mormile has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Gianluca is currently working at Upfield as the Industrial Director for Europe since January 2022. Prior to this role, they served as the Head of Operations at Upfield starting from January 2019. From 2014 to 2018, Gianluca held multiple roles at Nutricia Medical Nutrition, including the Global Supply Chain Director and Third-party Operations Director.

Before joining Nutricia, they worked at Danone Dairy for over a decade, where they served as the Industrial Director for Southern Africa and Italy. Gianluca also held the positions of Production & Maintenance Manager, Plant Manager, and Quality Assurance at different Danone facilities. Gianluca began their career in 1998 as a Sottotenente Carabinieri at National Service.

Throughout their career, Gianluca has focused on various aspects of operations management, including supply chain optimization, manufacturing, maintenance, and product launches. Gianluca has experience in leading large-scale projects, managing teams, and implementing continuous improvement methodologies.

Gianluca Mormile completed their Bachelor's degree in Business Engineering from Liceo scientifico Calini Brescia from 1988 to 1992. Gianluca then pursued a 1st Degree in Business Engineering from Brescia Engineering University, which they completed from 1993 to 1998.
