Grace Carcamo

Grace Carcamo is an experienced Histotechnologist with a strong background in lab operations and histology. Since October 2016, Grace has been running the lab independently at Florida Hospital New Smyrna, formerly Bert Fish Medical Center, where responsibilities include accessioning, preparing tissue for pathologists, and performing various laboratory procedures such as manual H&E staining and CT guided biopsies. Concurrently, at Florida Dermatology Associates since June 2015, Grace manages the histology laboratory, overseeing quality management and communication with pathologists while assisting physicians in the clinic. Previously, from August 2018 to April 2022, Grace served as Supervisor of the Histology Department at Steward Reference Laboratory. Grace holds an Associate of Arts and Sciences in Histotechnology from Keiser University, obtained in 2015.
