Daniel Black

Assistant Conductor at The Florida Orchestra

Daniel Black is an accomplished conductor with extensive experience in various orchestras. Currently serving as Assistant Conductor for The Florida Orchestra since September 2018, Daniel previously held the same title with Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra from August 2014 to July 2017. Daniel also served as Music Director for Oshkosh Symphony Orchestra between June 2014 and April 2017. Additional conducting roles include leading UIC String Orchestra from 2010 to 2014 and the Rockford Symphony Youth Orchestra from August 2009 to 2014. Daniel's educational background includes studies at Northwestern University and the Eastman School of Music, complemented by foundational training at Ventura High School.
